The RESEARCH CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT (CIMAD), is a Colombian non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, divulgation and knowledge exchange, through the development of scientific and technological investigation directed toward a natural resources community based conservation. MISSIONThe task of CIMAD focuses on the concerted planning and implementation of projects with local communities, governmental entities, NGOs, and national and foreign academic institutions that promote the adequate use of biodiversity and its conservation for the achievement of the sustainable human development.
