Research Project Management (RPM) is a boutique consulting firm with service offerings tailored to meet the needs of high performing researchers. RPM was founded in 2013 by Alison Paprica, PhD, PMP. Through her senior management positions as a research funder within the Ontario government, Alison has worked with leading scientists on hundreds of research projects. Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the US-based Project Management Institute in 2001, she is among the first 10% of the people to earn PMP certification internationally. As a strong supporter of research, and expert practitioner of project management, Alison has adapted the most relevant tools and practices from the project management body of knowledge to assist the academic sector. All RPM staff and associates are experienced project managers with PMP certification. RPM staff and associates specialize in high-level strategic project management that works for projects with high uncertainty. In all RPM activities the touch is light. The emphasis is on bringing key input from Principal Investigators and other team members together with RPM expertise in order to develop and execute high level strategic plans for academic research projects.
