Using trauma-informed care, social emotional learning, and restorative justice practices, Resilient Journey provides students with support for suspensions using our specialized curriculum.Out of school suspensions are ineffective and cost our country billions of dollars according to UCLA's Civil Rights project. Students and teachers not only lose valuable educational time, but the behavior issues continue despite current disciplinary actions. Our goal is to provide guidance and support as each of us heal the roots of trauma and become a resilient community.
