Empower a woman, lift a family.According to the International Monetary Fund, Venezuela's inflation rate is increasing by over 500,000% annually. There is no food, no medicine, and no security. Over 4 million have fled thus far, a number expected by the UN to top the Syrian refugee crisis in 2020. Many of these refugees are educated, experienced, bright women who are determined to provide for their uprooted families and to rebuild their lives.RESOL exists to facilitate financial independence for female, Venezuelan refugees. Headquartered in Provo, Utah, we work in South American countries bordering the Venezuelan refugee crisis. We understand that lifting a woman transforms the livelihood of her family as well. After a detailed screening and interview process, RESOL connects these refugee entrepreneurs with individuals and corporations in the developed world whose donations fund the physical capital these women need to build their small businesses such as laundry machines, sewing machines, commercial ovens, and various inventory. As women and as refugees, these entrepreneurs face harsh discrimination in their new home countries. However, RESOL provides an opportunity to provide financial stability for these families through entrepreneurship and business-minded education courses.Visit our website to learn more about the women we serve and how you can connect with these entrepreneurs.
