Response Care works to equip communities with extreme levels of poverty with the simple means with which to educate and empower their most vulnerable children, with a particular focus on art as a way to recover from trauma. We are driven by our passion to see children and young people who are caught in extreme poverty fulfil their potential. Response Care is awaiting approval of its application for UK charity registration but has already started to assist educators providing free education to children in a large refugee camp in East Africa. Many of these children are orphans and without assistance will go hungry and miss out on an education. Art programmes in particular will assist those who have fled war and violence to heal from their experiences, while skills training will give these children a much greater opportunity to escape poverty. Response Care is more than just an organisation. It's a coalition of supporters, including those who give financially and those we partner with locally by supporting and empowering their programmes to educate and empower disadvantaged children. We are passionate individuals from different walks of life driving forward Response Care's vision of making child poverty history.
