Restore is a functional restoration program parentheses (FRP) for people suffering with pain and disability. This program was designed in 1988 in response to the growing number of people in the United States who were suffering from chronic pain and for whom traditional care was failing.Chronic pain is more than just physical. It is emotional. It affects the patients' relationships, their ability to do common every day tasks. These patients are typically not working and, commonly, have found or believe there is secondary gain in remaining disabled. An FRP addresses all of those issues. More than the pain.We use multiple specialists including a Medical Doctor, a Physical Therapist, and a Psychologist. Patients will attend both individual and group sessions of therapy. They will be part of a group of other people JUST LIKE THEM in an effort to employ the Herd Mentality.
