Result Associates is an International management consulting firm based in the Washington D.C. area that specializes in Monitoring & Evaluation and Public Financial Management. Our Mission is to Help Donors maximize value for Taxpayers' Money. Guided by the firm's mission (www.results-associates.com) we collaborate with donors in the Monitoring and Evaluation Services (MES) and Public Financial Management (PFM) sectors to boost outcomes. In the former we contribute to the ethical realization of donors' objectives and the latter to realizing in developing countries fiscal discipline (fitting expenditures to available resources), allocation of available public funds to high priority areas, and the enhancement of the delivery of public services, using performance-based incentives schemes.We contribute to this mission by collaborating with donors to:I) Create an incentive system that harnesses the self-interest of the project implementors with the donors' interest. For we agree with Charlie Munger, the vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway that " Perhaps the most important thing in Management is incentives."II) Implement an adequate internal control structure that reasonably ensures the achievement of the donors' objectives ethically, guided by the COSO Internal Control Framework, the gold standard for designing internal controls.III) Identify and adapt best practices to accelerate innovation and action-based learning.
