Our objective is to make the old classics accessible to all. The prices of iconic design pieces have gone through the roof over the past decades due to inexistent competition and protectionism of the European design furniture market. Most licensed manufacturers have their original designs classisfied as a Piece of art by most European Local Laws. This means they have a copyright protection for 70 years after the designer has passed away. This is however not the case in UK where as in the US, the orignal design furniture is only subject to Design Right which covers them 25 years from the first public release. RetroFurnish.com is therefore completely legal and can ship to any destination in Europe as long as the sale takes place in UK.
