Reviled is a marketing and communications consulting company. It's founder, Esther McGeer, spent 7 years in media and then 7 years working at a large digital marketing agency before starting Reviled to assist businesses in building their brands' reputations in their markets. Reviled means "criticized" and spelled backwards translates to "deliver"; the sub-text to what drives Esther's passion to turn negative/neutral sentiment about a brand into positive sentiment. "I seek to help brands create stories about themselves that will change the way people think about their products and services". The consultancy makes use of research and analytics to develop consumer insights. These insights help guide the businesses they work with to align their communication and marketing messages to meet their customer at their shared point of interest. "Customers were saying the sky was blue while agency/brand was trying to convince them it was red. I knew then that the brands who tapped into what their customers really thought, cared about and needed (to solve their complex life problems) would be the brands that would not only make a lot more money but also could actually influence human lives in a positive way".
