Story Walking is a magical educational enrichment experience which guides each child in confidently creating his or her own life story. He learns the importance, responsibility, and uniqueness of being the "leading" character. She comes to understand that her story unfolds each day with a new page, and that manifestation requires both faith and patience. They develop a sharp awareness and learn to recognize the divine clues that appear, just for them, to help inspire and guide their actions. Incidently, the magical nature of Story Walking will also appeal to the kid inside every parent. The sharing of magical real life stories engage readers/listeners in a process that 1) promotes exercise and wellness, and reduce obesity, anxiety, and depression,2) fosters the development of creative problem solving skills through "nature and inspiration" studies,3) teaches the various roles and qualities of leadership by literally walking through history, and4) helps encourage confidence in both one's individuality and one's social connectedness.The public website offers educational resources - a spiritual detective series of short stories, audio workshops with stories and imaginative play activities for pre-school and early elementary children, a calendar of local fundraising walks and special events, a large list of beautiful places to walk, ideas for amping up a workout, and many links for valuable information. Funded by donations, sponsorships, and speaking fees.
