RICAN BUSINESS VENTURES (RBV) is the Holding Company of the Rican Group of companies. All personnel are employed by RBV and everything that the Group needs is procured by RBV. All Managing Directors of the subsidiaries are on the board of RBV and many are shareholders. The reasoning for this structure is to ensure that the Group will be managed by people who have a global group vision and not just an interest in their specific area of responsibility. The personnel are all aware of how other subsidiaries function and are trained to be capable of filling several roles within the subsidiaries. This approach creates a very valuable resource, that of a team of people capable of performing tasks, fulfilling roles and carrying out functions in several companies – a flexibility which permits absences, due to holidays, illness or other unforeseen situations, to be covered at a moment's notice by people who know the company, its purpose and the tasks that need to be accomplished.THE OBJECTIVE OF THE GROUP is to change people's lives for the good by developing multiple niche markets which via internet, social/professional networking and structured marketing will provide them with opportunities to earn incomes above the norm in their countries. This is initially targeting countries where many people do not have, although it is their inalienable right, the opportunities to provide for themselves and their families by their own labour. Although there is an initial geographical target this does not preclude any one from availing themselves of the opportunities provided where ever they maybe in the world. At the same time we will be creating an international group of companies that will be involved in many legal, moral and ethical markets and using the proceeds to improve lives worldwide.
