Founded and incorporated in 1966 by John L Richardson. The wholesale book company quickly grew from John and his wife, Mary, handling all aspects the business with only a few thousand dollars in sales operating out of a small house near U of H into owning and operating a 22,000 square foot facility in the heart of Houston with several million dollars in sales annually. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1993, Nancy L Richardson purchased the family business and was president and CEO for the following 20 years until permanently closing the doors in 2013. A family owned wholesale book distributor with sales ranging from 3-8 million dollars annually and employing up to 20 employees at any given time over the years. We provided book sales to major bookstore chains, school districts and hosted over 100 premier book fairs per year at public and private schools in the Texas area for over 47 years.
