Apparel & Fashion - Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
We're fun, and funny - well, we aspire to be. We create statement jewelry pieces in semi-precious stones, metals and acrylics that brighten up outfits, stand out in crowded rooms, and arm you as a purveyor of brave and good taste. Founded and designed by Parsons School of Design alumna, Riddhika Jesrani, and hand-crafted in Mumbai by local artisans and metalworkers, the eponymous line features improbable combinations, graphic schemes and fresh concepts, curious about global ideas but rooted in craft traditions. About RiddhikaRiddhika was born in India, raised in Oman, and has traveled extensively, and so the landmarks of various places from her travels - whether the Sagrada Família in Barcelona or the Grand Mosque in Muscat - have inspired her distinctive designs and collections. She was trained as a communications designer at Parsons for three years, and followed up with coursework at the prestigious GIA (Gemological Institute of America), focusing on designing with precious and semi-precious stones. Over the last few years, Riddhika has used her jewelry brand to raise awareness around various causes and has partnered with various non-profits and NGOs, often donating 100% of the proceeds to the organizations.Project FUELWe believe that good collaborations can make you think bigger, wider, and greater while adding value to life in small ways. Our recent tie up with Project FUEL has been most exciting. We took life lessons collected by Deepak Ramola and made them into wisdom jewels in the form of brooches. The Akanksha FoundationWe also believe that working with children is what keeps our minds and hearts young. It also is essential that we mold our future and help add more value to their lives in any way we can. Which is why we picked The Akanksha Foundation / Art For Akanksha to collaborate a line of jewelry back in 2013. The kids were mentored by Riddhika Jesrani over few weeks and what came out of that class was pure, unadulterated, colorful magic.
