The Mission of the Ridley Eye Foundation is to provide funding for the sustainable delivery of surgery for the most needy peoples of the developing world who suffer from cataract blindness. Our focus is currently treating poor patients who live in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in Nepal above 2000m. REF aims to become the UK's leading high altitude cataract surgical charity by 2032 and by 2027 to be providing up to 30 surgical camps per year in all 5 Himalayan provinces.
