Risecomm Microelectronics Co., Ltd., established in 2006, is a fabless Integrated Circuits (IC) design company focusing on design of Power Line Communication (PLC) System-on-Chip (SoC) and development of turnkey solutions to intelligent control and sensing networks for equipment and devices over utility AC power lines. As a result, Risecomm has created an effective alternatives to wireless solutions, especially where wireless solutions have poor performance due to metal or concrete obstacles or multipath reflections or simply RF radiation is not allowed. Risecomm's PLC ICs and solutions have been widely used in many applications such as smart meters for Smart Grid projects, streetlight control systems for intelligent city projects, solar photovoltaic management systems, and building/office/ home automation systems.
