Founded in 2018, we aim to create awareness about the lives of refugees and the hardships they have experienced before seeking asylum, as well as the struggles they continue to go through while creating new lives. With this knowledge, we hope to provide ourselves and others with the opportunity to assist refugees and inspire people to create a positive impact in their community.Based in Detroit at Wayne State University, our organization strives to provide different methods of helping local refugees, and those who live abroad. The most important impact we want to make is to help them feel comfortable living in a new country and making sure they know that they are welcome. Through all the adversity they have experienced no matter where they end up, we want them to know that Detroit and onward is their home.
