The River Collective is a network of researchers, scientists, artists, students, academics and river defenders focused on the protection of free-flowing rivers. We are dedicated to creating an interdisciplinary space for environmental activism. We bring together science, art, and river conservation; while tackling critical environmental issues. --------------River systems are the spark that ignites life across the planet. Flora, fauna and people critically depend on healthy free-flowing rivers. We need rivers to play a vital role in local and international climate debates and biodiversity conservation.The River Collective is supported by a core team of seven individuals dedicated to curating the program structure of the network. Network members come from all corners of the world, making us an inclusive, open, and collaborative organization. Together we develop strategies and actions based on social, cultural, political contexts - aiming our actions to have lasting, positive impacts.
