The River Valley Company has a unique vision for the development of the Edmonton River Valley: to create an international tourist destination with beautifully unique buildings, and to provide world-class hospitality businesses and tourist-centric activities for people from all over the world to come to Edmonton to enjoy. It is the goal of the RVC to establish this new "outdoor Edmonton tourism culture" in the River Valley, and to build an exciting new tourist destination in the River Valley within 20 years. This development will occur in a sustainable and eco-friendly way and will economically support the maintenance and repair of the Edmonton River Valley to a much higher standard.
