Riverbend is situated 6km south of Smithton on Trowutta Road in a beautiful riverside setting. The centre consists of a large complex all under one roof.Riverbend is a Brethren run campsite dedicated to reaching youth for Christ. It has been running camps since 1970, staffed largely by volunteer leaders. It is administered by a Board and currently has 1 couple working onsite. It is capable of accommodating 149 people and caters for all types of camps and conferences. Currently, we are developing our systems and site to allow for greater service provision for events and bookings for businesses, schools and community organisations.The Riverbend bookshop, which began in the campsite itself, is now located in the main street of Smithton and provides a wide variety of Christian resources including music, fiction, gift lines, cards and Bible Study materials.
