Rivers of Hope is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization that was founded in the summer of 1989 by a small group of citizens who were concerned about domestic violence in their local community. Rivers of Hope is the sole provider of adult community advocacy and support services for victims of domestic violence in Wright & Sherburne Counties. Rivers of Hope offers general and legal advocacy, education, support group, information, and referrals. Rivers of Hope also has a youth program offering school presentations and individual advocacy and crisis response in school based settings.
