The Riverside Theatre venue is an intimate 278 – 350 seat auditorium offering a vast annual programme, for children and adults, of comedy, dance, music, drama and art.The Riverside is unique, in a Northern Ireland context, by having both a totally variable stage and seating facility.Overall, Riverside's main auditorium can be configured and used in up to six different ways – hence our claim to uniqueness in an NI context. In proscenium arch format Riverside can accommodate 270 seats: in thrust, this increases to 350.Both formats include special designated areas for wheelchair users.There are also a number of other spaces available in the building for smaller functions and events, namely the Café / bar areas and rehearsal room.The Riverside is fully licensed for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships.
