In 1983, a group of St. Paul's West Side business owners founded the Riverview Economic Development Association. These merchants were experiencing a declining economy at that time and felt the negative impacts it had on their businesses, the commercial district, and the surrounding neighborhood. These small business owners developed an organization that would demonstrate strong leadership in community-based economic development activities and become a catalyst for commercial redevelopment and public improvements. Throughout the years REDA has continued to engage and assist local businesses in a variety of ways; commercial revitalization, technical assistance, marketing, beautification, public safety, local art, community events, and so much more. As a leader in community development we are proud to bring you nationally recognized programs like District del Sol and Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Please take some time to learn more about REDA, our events, membership and business opportunities. We'll see you soon in Minnesota's Spiciest Neighborhood!
