The Roberts Knight Leeds Metropolitan University Consultancy [RKL] provides specialist advice in the fields of public art, urban design and creative ideas for 'placemaking'. Graham Roberts and Andrew Knight are two of the UK's most experienced public art consultants and they can bring the additional research expertise and resources of the University to bear on germane issues. RKL was formed in 2002 and has provided research, strategy and project management services for public sector bodies across the UK, including Arts Council England, Scottish Arts Council and Arts Council of Wales.Recent projects include the design and delivery of an art inclusion plan for the UK's largest 'shared space' scheme at Ashford in Kent, and the development of the Wolds Way Sculpture Trail in Yorkshire. Graham Roberts is a Cabe BEE (Built Environment Expert) and in this capacity advises housebuilder Crest Nicholson on placemaking.
