RMR Real Estate Income Fund (the Fund) is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to earn and pay a high level of current income to its common shareholders. The Fund's secondary investment objective is capital appreciation. It pursues its investment objectives by investing in securities issued by real estate companies, including real estate investment trusts (REITs). The Fund's investment portfolio includes real estate investment trusts, apartments, data centers, free standing, healthcare, lodging/resorts, manufactured homes, mortgage, regional malls, shopping centers, specialty, storage and other. Under normal market conditions, the Fund's investments are concentrated in income producing common shares, preferred shares and debt securities, including convertible preferred and debt securities. The Fund's investment advisor is RMR Advisors LLC.
