News 24 March 2010 With our high accident rate, bad road conditions and reckless driving, Road Hawk is the ideal mechanism to legally protect yourself with an in-car camera that creates an audio-visual log while you drive. Road Hawk was initially developed in the UK in 2008 after a serious road traffic accident caused by a holidaymaker driving on the wrong side of the road. The case was taken to court and took over 3 years to resolve. If the driver had the facility to have a car safety black box camera in his car then it would never had taken this long and a lot of money would have been saved in the process. Seeing the benefits of Road Hawk and how it will protect drivers, the system is now available throughout Southern Africa.
