The Stripe Hog system uses the tractor mounted blast head for the very best in high pressure blasting and simultaneous vacuum recovery. The all in one environment friendly 40,000 psi water blasting vacuum recovering line removal system with no mess no chemicals is ready for pavement marking removals for materials such as Waterborne, Thermo plastics , expoxies , glue, tape , curing compound , rubber from airport runways , paint spills etc. High pressure water blasting is the preferred method as this procedure removes almost all of the marking and visibility of removed marking during sun glare, night or wet road surface is minimised. The stripe Hog system is perfect for Re texturing and renewal of existing spray sealed road surfaces by removing excess bitumen from the surface, otherwise known as flushing or bleeding. This flushing of bitumen is not only a safety issue, it is also a cost burden to road authorities due to the higher maintenance costs over the life of the pavement. The stripe hog can remove problematic flushing without damaging the pavement or seal membrane, restoring both texture and friction and maximising the service life of the pavement. Where re-seals are required the Stripe Hog can be used to pre-treat flushed areas to restore texture uniformity to the pavement surface therefore greatly reducing the likelihood of further flushing in the affected areas.
