Transform safety into a game they want to win. As parents, we could force our children to wear ankle bracelets and track their movements 24/7. We can punish them for this, deprive them of some perk for doing that…but it's exhausting, and ultimately, it doesn't teach responsibility. RoadPoints is designed to encourage good driving habits by rewarding them, converting the act of driving into a game they want to win. Like a monthly allowance, you set up the rewards plan, and we provide the scorecard by which they have to earn it.Download the app to your teenager's phone. Don't worry—they won't mind once you explain what's in it for them. (See below.) Once installed, the app will report movement and location data back to the server. The app will also report if it is shut down, such that disabling the app cannot occur by accident.Monitor the phone's behavior with daily, weekly or monthly reports, or by into your account. No one goes anywhere anymore without their phone, and least of all teenagers. There's no need for a special device to plug into your car—we can obtain all the necessary information from your teenager's phone. It doesn't matter if your teen is the driver or the passenger—accidents happen to both—once the phone hits 20MPH, it begins logging speed and location data. Based on this, the teen gets a report card, and you receive a report.
