Religious Institutions - Eureka, Illinois, United States
We are first, and foremost, lovers of God and followers of Jesus who seek God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Some people call us Christians, others disciples of Christ. Our theological world view is Anabaptist, and our historical name is Mennonite. We're just ordinary people who experience God together in an extraordinary community of faith. In fact, many of us come from faith backgrounds that differ from the one we chose to be a part of. Here, you'll meet those who grew up Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Reformed, Brethren, Apostolic, and most other Christian congregations. There are also people new to the christian faith, new to Anabaptism, new to the Church, or still questioning God. Wherever you're at on your spiritual journey, whether you've been a believer for many years, or you're just starting to ask questions about God and need a safe place to do so, we invite you to join us. We think you'll discover what you're looking for in the shared life of the gathered people known as Roanoke Mennonite Church. Seeking and extending God's healing, hope, and reconciliation.
