Unlike many of my colleagues, I was not born into the legal profession. I am the son of an engineer, raised in an automotive family. Before my return to graduate school, I was working as a BMW mechanic in Munich. Facing a non-existent job market upon graduation from law school, and with the encouragement of a handful of established attorneys, I ventured out on my own and started this practice. Times have been tough, but hard work, dedication, and a little luck have gotten me to the point I am today. Weather and court permitting, I drive a 1931 Model A Ford on a regular basis. At Robert E.
