Rob grew up in Naperville, Illinois and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1979 from the University of Illinois majoring in psychology. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1982 from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He moved to Arizona and served as an administrative assistant and clerk to the Honorable Robert C. Broomfield in 1983. He then defended doctors and hospitals for 5 years under the mentorship of Barry MacBan and Duane Olson. In 1989, Rob started representing victims of medical neglect and chaired the malpractice department at Langerman, Begam, Lewis & Marks through 1993. He opened his own practice in Scottsdale in 1994 and has well over 25 years of experience litigating cases of Medical Negligence, Birth Injury, Surgical Error; defective products and other cases of serious injuries caused by the negligence of others.Rob is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes the accomplishments of lawyers who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. He is AV rated and listed in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He authored "The Right to Videotape Depositions," in The Arizona Trial Lawyers Association Advocate (February 2000). He has lectured on numerous occasions on medical malpractice. Rob has a passion for helping disabled children. He served for several years on the Board of Gompers Rehabilitation Center, a rehabilitation center for seriously disabled children and adults, serving as chairman for 2 years.
