On January 1, 1946 the Robinson Foundry and Builders Supply Company came into operation with 11 employees including the president and owner, Joseph H. Robinson, Sr.. In 1974 J. Scott Howell was named Vice President/General Manager and launched Robinson Iron as a separate company. Robinson markets a line of historic cast iron reproductions (Janney, Fiske, Mott and Perot) and specializes in the restoration and custom casting of Architectural Metalwork.
