The Rocac Group is a company based in Kenya- with offices in Nairobi, Westlands and Production unit in Mombasa. We produce Coconut Oil under the brand name- Nela Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and Coconut Water under the brand name- Cocotier Water. We Export our Nela Virgin Coconut Oil and Cocotier Water to Europe, USA, Africa, and Asia and are working towards expanding our market to the whole world. We also provide our products locally in supermarkets in Kenya and in Cosmetic shops in major towns in the country. Nela virgin coconut oil and Cocotier Water are made from freshly harvested mature coconuts purchased from the Pwani Kenya region. We organically and naturally extract water and oil from coconuts and provide the healthy products we sell and still maintaining a fun and tasty lifestyle! Our main drive of starting the company Rocac was inspired by the presence of the conflict "Pwani si Kenya" (Coast is not a part of Kenya). The conflict involved the coastal region of Kenya feeling left out in developments and wanting to form their own country and drift away from Kenya. This drove us into thinking about the reasons the coastal people felt left out and we discovered that it's the poor state of the people in the region that ignited the move. The farmers in the Pwani section of Kenya are mostly poor and uneducated. The farmers, however, produce high quality coconuts and with a little help, they can go very far. Rocac Group identified that the major problems faced by the farmers in the coast region was exploitation of the coconut market by the buyers and brokers through offering very low prices for coconuts. We decided to change this state of affairs and expose the farmers to better prices, farming education, farming products to boost quality and financial stability to support their families. That's our journey as Rocac Group that brings us close to the world's move towards a healthier lifestyle via making our products naturally and organically.
