The mission of Rock Steady Boxing Bucks County is to provide an energetic and empowering exercise program in a supportive environment which allows people with Parkinson's Disease to "fight back". We are learning every day that there are ways in which people with Parkinson's disease can enhance their daily quality of life and even build impressive power, strength, flexibility and speed! By exercising with coaches who know the ropes, you can "fight" your way out of the corner and start to feel and function better.Research studies are showing that forced, intense exercise programs are "neuro-protective," and actually work to delay the progression of this disease.In addition to being certified Rock Steady Boxing Coaches, we are licensed physical therapists, with extensive experience working with people with Parkinson's Disease. We have additional certifications including LSVT BIG and PWR! therapists (Parkinson Wellness Recovery). We are passionate about what we do!!
