Mr. Semmens is the Chairman of the Rocky Mountain Technology Alliance (RMTA), a non-profit regional development organization established in early 2004. The RMTA combines the efforts of industry, government, and educational institutions in the Rocky Mountain Technology Corridor for the purpose of developing, applying, and commercializing technology. The RMTA includes large and entrepreneurial companies and government organizations, including national research laboratories, involved in such technologies as microelectronics, MEMS, Nanotechnology, aerospace, near space, defense, software, computer and networks, and manufacturing.
