What began as playing with toy soldiers, building models and collecting toy soldiers way back in 1971 has continued today with all of my online stores and groups. I have always had an interest in history and the military with our strong family military history, including my service in the U.S.M.C. With the arrival of Windows 95, the internet and eBay, I finally had a way of connecting with other collectors, dealers and modelers, as well as a way to buy and sell, which led to me opening my first online toy soldier store on eBay in 1998, a few years later I started my website & web store Rodney's Dimestore Gallery and in the last few years I have opened an Amazon store.
