"Building True Sea Kayakers...One Stroke at a Time"Having taught sea kayaking for over 13 years and coaching physical movement for decades, we have given some of the best paddlers in the Northeast and Northwest their starts.We teach technical classes to dedicated students. Starting with rock solid fundamentals and a building on practice through dedication and gained experience. We seek out students that are willing to put in the time training and practicing. Yes, they are few and far between, but we dedicate our team to those dedicated students wanting to be on their game. The sea is an extremely dynamic environment and is no place for tourists when she gets ugly. I will teach you to "survive and thrive" no matter the conditions. I will take you from the beach to an ugly sea with the skills and confidence you'll need to enjoy every minute if you allow me.Our mentors over the years have been Nigel Foster, Derek Hutchinson, Tom Berg, Mick Santos, Karen Knight and many lesser known dedicated practitioners. We have been certified by both the ACA and BCU to teach/coach in open sea conditions.Our team's Sea Kayaking experience spans both coasts of North America, mostly New England, California, Oregon and Washington. A little jaunt of the eastern coast of Canada and wanderings about in Alaska.Call us when you're ready. The sea will wait.
