Rohde Farms is a family farming business located near Tarlee, South Australia. The business consists of two enterprises, mixed cropping and livestock and a free-range egg business, Rohde's Free Range Eggs. The mixed cropping and livestock enterprise includes close to 3,000 hectares of cropping (wheat, canola & beans) along 2,500 merino ewes. Rohde's Free Range Eggs have been producing genuine free-range eggs for over 50 years. There are currently 70,000 chickens on the farm, producing over 50,000 eggs each day. Rohde's is also the only RSPCA accredited free-range egg farm in South Australia, highlighting the significance of high quality animal welfare on the farm.
