The aid is provided primarily in the areas of education, medicine and livelihood.ROKPA INTERNATIONAL is a registered charity, founded in 1980 by Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche, a Tibetan Doctor and Teacher, by Lea Wyler, a Swiss actress, and her father, the well-known Swiss lawyer Dr. Veit Wyler.The international headquarters are in Zurich, Switzerland, with national headquarters and branches in 15 countries.
