Rolling Readers Details
Founded in 1992, Rolling Readers is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading and improved literacy in low-income children through two established interventions: recruiting and placing "Read Aloud" volunteers in K-3 classrooms and giving each child their very own books to take home and start a home library. Last year, Rolling Readers worked with 9000 San Diego children and gave away 18,000 books.
