Romanel is the second largest producer of whitewood and the largest in beech in Romania. As a vertically integrated wood products company, it manufactures and sells timber, briquettes, tongue&groove, S4S lumber, chips, sawdust, pellets, horse bedding, core layer and firewood. Romanel also produces one of the highest qualities of beech plywood in Romania. Our sawmills are FSC ® certified and are located in the Carpathians: 1. Tarcau (whitewood) 2. Vatra Dornei (whitewood) 3. Roznov (hardwood) Romanel also owns and manages lands and buildings in and outside Bucharest as well as its own port terminal in Braila (eastern Romania).The port has received the statement of Compliance of the Port Facility according to the ISPS code, as well as ISO certification for quality and environment. Romanel plays its role in protecting the environment and its primary resource – the forest – by running a residual biomass based power plant. To reinforce its already strong commitment to responsible forestry practices, it has also achieved FSC ® certification, for both whitewood and beech production. The group has a range of capacities stretching from trees harvesting, conversion of logs into boards, drying into timber, shipping from Braila port or by container and delivering to the biggest hubs globally. The production is sold in Europe, Africa, the MENA region as well as in Asia. Romanel este al doilea producător de cherestea din lemn de rasinoase și din lemn de fag, ca mărime, din România. Ca firmă integrată vertical în domeniul produselor din lemn, societatea produce și vinde cherestea, scoarță, peletii, talaș, așternut pentru animale, rumeguș și lemn de foc. Ca grup responsabil preocupat de mediu, Romanel au obținut Certificarea FSC ® în 2015, atât pentru producția de lemn alb, cât și de lemn de fag. Productia grupului este vanduta la nivel global, in Europa, Africa, Orientul Mijlociu si Golf, precum si in Asia.
