Rommel was founded in 2018 on the premise that NZ can do better. The reports of the state of NZ housing stock in terms of quality, affordability, and quality thrust the founders' skills into high demand as they delivered innovative solutions to complex problems in a simple way. The founders believed NZ can build better buildings, can use better engineering tools, can be a world leader in building design. To do this, we need more expertise than just engineers, which is why our team includes architects, engineers, tradesmen, draftsmen and others that give us a well-rounded knowledge base to draw from.
