Experience a friendly family home. Explore fjords and mountains. Enjoy concerts, festivals and outdoor adventures around Voss. We offer pleasant accommodation with home-cooked food and a family atmosphere in Evanger, a small, pretty village just one hour by car/train from Bergen and 20 minutes from Voss! Our house is a comfortable and rustic family home, built in 1923; we love it very much, but it is not luxurious or modern, and we are always working on improving it. Staying with us will give you an opportunity to meet a British-Norwegian family and experience family life in a Norwegian setting. Several children aged 9+ live in the house, so there can be activity and noise. Wi-fi throughout the house. Breakfast, bedding and towels included. If you need anything during your stay, please ask!The two guest rooms upstairs have comfortable beds and basic necessities, and share one bathroom. Guests are welcome to make themselves at home in the family living rooms and kitchen. We have a piano, guitars and other instruments, and a lot of books. The household is mainly vegetarian plus fish, with some meat served to guests. Please note that as of 2020, measures have been put in place to safeguard our guests and ourselves, including rigorous cleaning routines, hand sanitizer dispensers, breakfast separate from the family, and only one reservation/group/family at a time.
