The Roosevelt Community Revitalization Group (RCRG), mission is to improve the quality of life in the Roosevelt Community through Education, Economic Development and Health and Wellness, to work as an advocate for the residents of Roosevelt bringing issues to their attention that may adversely affect the quality of life of residents, and other stakeholders. RCRG will work cohesively and collaboratively solely for the advancement of revitalization efforts that will benefit the citizens of Roosevelt. The Roosevelt Community Revitalization Group, RCRG is working to promote the community and economic revitalization of Roosevelt New York. Roosevelt is an unincorporated community in the Town of Hempstead. RCRG is an organization that is broadly based as to truly represent the concerns of the residents and stakeholders in the Community of Roosevelt. RCRG is comprised primarily of several Community Based Organizations and Residents. We are following up on the initial work of the Roosevelt Implementation Task Force, created in 2003, to shepherd the implementation of Roosevelt Vision Plan for Nassau Rd. The Roosevelt Community Revitalization Group is working to create real change in the Roosevelt Community.
