Resisting Oppressive Obstacles with Technology (ROOT) is an all-girls coding camp for those who don't have access to Computer Science related courses in their high schools or hometowns. Camps are held bi-annually during the summer and winter breaks for young women between the ages of 13-18. The camp was designed to empower those to chase their dreams and feel empowered in tackling anything they set their minds on. Rather than seeing the tech industry as something "foreign" due to the lack of access and representation, our mission is to inspire young women to be trailblazers in their communities.
