Roots Dance Studio was founded in August of 2018 by Ellie Fant and Noah Farrell. Our studio teaches a wide variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, lyrical, and more! Our studios are state-of-the-art and newly refurbished. We aim to offer classes that not only teach proper technique and muscle training for each style, but we also instill in our students the value of practice, commitment, hard work, and overcoming challenges. We believe that dance teaches more than just movements and the lessons learned in our classes can be taken beyond our studio walls. Roots Dance studio is a studio of expression and energy, not competition and comparisons. We believe dancing is a hobby and a life skill and should not be a stressor for any student or parent that walks into our studio. We believe that movement and learning is what is truly important when it comes to a dance class. Our studio is proud to offer an alternative system to the end of the year showcase. Instead of a dragged out, four-hour-long performance that no parent or student wants to sit through, we have created a system that allows parents to see their children perform without sitting through an entire studio showcase and giving up their entire day. Roots Dance Studio is proudly Shomer Shabbat and is not open on Shabbat or any other Jewish holiday.
