Dubai is known to be a melting pot of different cultures and cuisines, but we noticed that there was a lack of Caribbean food in the city. We wanted to change this and introduce the people of Dubai to the real and authentic taste of Jamaica; no corner cutting involved. This is how Rootz was born.Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly in putting together a menu of Jamaican classics that will feed your soul. Our dishes are packed with rich flavors thanks to all the goodness that can be found locally. After months of scouting Dubai's spice market and testing countless jerk spice combinations, we discovered that Jamaica could be found within Dubai too. For that "feel-good, just the way we do it back home" taste, we have flown in our chef from the heart of our beloved island and we have also created a custom-made jerk pan to ensure you experience the full smoked flavor from all our jerk dishes.
