Roskill Union & Community Health (Hauora o Puketapapa) provides primary healthcare services to a rapidly growing enrolled population in the Mt. Roskill, Wesley, Three Kings, Mt. Albert and Avondale communities. Services include: Primary Health Care: 2 - 3 doctors working per day Migrant & Refugee Community Health Project Extensive community development and networking links Refugee support programmes, through a collaborative relationship with Auckland Refugees as Survivors Service - provision of counselling, psychiatry and body therapy to refugee patients Referral service via Refugee Health Co-ordinator, Auckland District Health Board Intersectoral relationship with Mana Clinic, Wesley Primary School (Health Promoting Schools Programme) Collaborative relationship with Auckland DHB Public Health, via Refugee Health Liaison Officers, and Public Health Nursing Child and Youth Team Other links include: Resource Teachers: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB), Plunket, WINZ, Monte Cecilia Housing Trust, Mt Roskill Citizen's Advice Bureau, Domestic Violence Centre, Pacific Island Women's Health Trust, O Le Lafitaga Trust, Community Policing: Mt Roskill, Catholic Family & Community Services, Salvation Army Community & Family Services, local church groups via Mt Roskill Ministers Association, Housing NZ Maternity support provided on site by ADHB After hours healthcare with White Cross at a reduced cost Pharmacy and physiotherapy on site.
