The Rotaract Club of Colombo Central was chartered in 2018 spearheaded by 9 like-minded Rotaractors with the purpose of providing an opportunity for young individuals to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.The Club receives the fullest support and guidance of the parent club, the Rotary Club of Colombo Central. Within a short span of time, the Club has grown into an organization with 60 enthusiastic fellow Rotaractors who desire to collectively influence the society. Embracing the club theme of ‘Be Revolutionary – Be the Change', the young leaders of the Club intend to make a positive impact on the community through engagement and empowerment. The club has been able to execute several innovative projects in a short period of two years in existence which has been able to garner both international and local recognition.
