The Rotaract Club of Harare Central was chartered in 1979 as the Rotaract Club of Salisbury Central. It is the oldest Rotaract Club in Harare and Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is situated in the Rotary International (RI) District 9210 comprising Malawi, Mozambique (Northern), Zambia and Zimbabwe.The Club is a community-based club comprised of 4 committees; Club Services, Community Services, Professional Development & International Service and Finance. Each of the committees is run by a director and the club is run by the President. The club has approximately 31 members of various backgrounds, occupations and interests.The Club has 2 long-term community service partnerships, Melfort Farm for Aged Displaced People (in association with HelpAge Zimbabwe) and L'Arche Zimbabwe Children's Homes
