Welcome to the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai. The Consulate has the administrative responsibility for the following provinces: Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Anhui.The Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai strives to further develop Sino-Norwegian relations in this important part of China. Our main priorities are:- Public Diplomacy and cultural cooperation- Business promotion- Academic / research cooperation- Efficient visa service to Chinese tourists and travellers- Consular tasks / assisting NorwegiansWe work closely with Chinese and Norwegian public and private institutions. The Shanghai office of Innovation Norway constitutes the Commercial Section of the Consulate General, and we also work closely with the Norwegian Business Association (NBA) in Shanghai and the Norwegian Seafood Council.
